I received the Lord four years ago. This marvelous event took place in the city of Cali (Colombia). I was born, I grew up, I was educated, and I worked in that city. In my last job one of my co-workers preached the gospel to me, and I received the Lord.

Immediately after receiving the Lord, I wanted to meet with the group of Christians that my co-worker was meeting with; I did not want to attend any other place. By the Lord's mercy I began to meet with the church in Cali, the place that I really needed.

Little by little I have fallen in love more and more with the Lord. He has gained my heart more every day. Eventually, I came to the United States and entered into the Full-Time Training in order to keep seeking Him. I am convinced that in order to love the Lord I need to know Him more. The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has provided me a good way to know the Lord Jesus more, not just by the Word's light, but also in a subjective way.

I thank the Lord for the local church where I have learned to know the Lord. I am very grateful to the Lord for having me in the FTTA, where my knowledge and enjoyment of the Lord and my appreciation of the brothers and sisters in Christ have become deeper. Here I am also learning to know myself under the divine light. I have to confess that I know myself in a way that I did not know before. Although I am in my first term, the Lord has gained something in me, that is, the desire to know myself through His divine eyes so that I can live my life according to God and for God and His Body.
